Google’s NIK Photo Collection Is Now Free

Googles’s photo NIK Photo Collection software is a set of imaging plugins for Photoshop, Lightroom, and Aperture.  Google today, announced it would be offering the $150 software for FREE.  Google has decided to focus on image editing on mobile platforms and as a result, appears not to be further developing the NIK Photo Collection software.  OK, so no updates.  I can live with that.  The software is amazing.  I have used a lot of image editors, but nothing like this.  Here is an NIK enhanced photo I did just spelunking through some of the options:
